This fall, ILS began offering a new series of electives for students in 6th-8th grades. Offered each Friday afternoon, these electives allow students the opportunity to engage in various areas of study outside of the already robust academic curriculum. Electives are treated like classes by our faculty in terms of classroom decorum and procedures, although there are no assigned grade.
Each month, students are able to pick from 2 to 3 different offerings. These include: Math Club, Logic: Speech & Analysis, Journalism Club, Story Club, Manuscript Illuminations, Film Club, and more. Several of these options are offered multiple times throughout the year.
