Meet Us Monday: Miss Alyssa Walsh, 3rd Grade Teacher

Today, we invite you go get to know our new ILS 3rd Grade Teacher, Miss Alyssa Walsh, with her recent “Meet Us Monday” interview.

  1. What is your favorite thing about ILS? (OR: What are you most looking forward to about working at ILS?)  

    I am looking forward to chapel services the most. 

  2. What book are you currently reading?

    I just finished rereading LadyLike: Living Biblically from CPH. 

  3. What was your favorite thing you did this summer?

    I reread CS Lewis’ Space Trilogy and took part in a Wittenberg Academy online course about it. 

  4. What is one place you would like to visit but have not yet been?

    Black Hills National Forest. 

  5. What was your favorite subject/class when you were in school?

    Greek or Latin, they were both always vying for favorite. 

  6. What was your favorite book as a child?

    As a child, I really loved A Wrinkle In Time. 

  7. What is your favorite scripture verse?

    I love the first chapter of John, but if I had to choose one verse from it, I would choose John 1:4 “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
