  1. What are you most looking forward to about working at ILS?

    I am looking forward to getting to know my students and the rest of the wonderful community at ILS -- I already feel so welcomed.

  2. What book are you currently reading?

    Weekend Wodehouse by P.G. Wodehouse. Wodehouse's writing style makes me laugh spontaneously in public places.

  3. What was your favorite thing you did this summer?

    I went snorkeling with my sisters in Hawaii and saw two spotted stingrays and a turtle! It was quite the adventure.

  4. What is one place you would like to visit but have not yet been?

    Scotland is on the list of "places to visit"

  5. What was your favorite subject/class when you were in school?

    Creative writing! I loved the idea that I could capture favorite snippets of the world through words.

  6. What was your favorite book as a child?

    Mr. Popper's Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater. I have vivid memories of my mom reading this book aloud while we sat on the couch together.

  7. What is your favorite scripture verse?

    "The Lord your God is with you,

    the Mighty Warrior who saves.
    He will take great delight in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
    but will rejoice over you with singing.”

    - Zephaniah 3:17
