Meet Us Monday: Miss Lucy Cuneo (Hillsdale Intern, Spring 2021)

We are bringing back our Meet Us Monday Blog series as we have a few new faces joining us at ILS for the second half of the year!

Today, we invite you go get to know one of our two Hillsdale Interns, Miss Lucy Cuneo, with her recent “Meet Us Monday” interview.

Miss Cuneo is a student at Hillsdale College and will be interning with us at Immanuel for the remainder of the school year.

  1. What year are you at Hillsdale College & what are you studying?

    I am a sophomore at Hillsdale majoring in Classical Studies (Greek and Latin).

  2. Where did you grow up?

    I grew up all over the US, including Hillsdale, New York, Santa Rosa, and most recently San Diego.

  3. What are you most looking forward to about interning at ILS?

    I am so excited to observe a variety of classrooms and learn teaching techniques from all the fantastic educators.

  4. What book(s) are you currently reading?

    A super nerdy book about Greek papyri found in Oxyrhynchos, Egypt and “Wounded by Love” by St. Porphyrios.

  5. What is one place you would like to visit but have not yet been?

    All of Greece- monasteries and churches especially!

  6. What was your favorite book as a child?

    “Are You My Mother?” Before I could read, I asked my mom to read it so many times that I had it memorized.

  7. What is your favorite scripture verse?

    1 Peter 5:6-7 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
