As we count down to the 2022-2023 school year, our Meet Us Monday Blog series returns to introduce you to the outstanding new teachers joining our ILS faculty this year.

Mrs. Katie Baldwin will be joining our team as one of our Extended Care Teachers. After teaching in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and China for several years, we are delighted to have Mrs. Baldwin join the staff at ILS this year!

What is your position at ILS?
I will be joining ILS as an Aftercare Teacher!
What are you most looking forward to about working at ILS?
I'm most looking forward to joining this lovely community that I have heard so many good things about!
What book are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Theology of Home.
What was your favorite thing you did this summer?
I took my infant son to visit a family member's farm. We had a blast playing outside and watching the animals!
What is one place you would like to visit but have not yet been?
The Swiss Alps are at the top of my list.
What was your favorite subject/class when you were in school?
English was my favorite subject in school. I still love reading and writing!
What was your favorite book as a child?
I really enjoyed the Junie B. Jones series when I was growing up.
What is your favorite scripture verse?
