Meet Us Monday: Mr. Abram Egger, 5th Grade Teacher

As we count down to the 2021-2022 school year, we are bringing back our Meet Us Monday Blog series to introduce you to the outstanding new teachers joining our ILS faculty this year. Check in each week to meet or better get to know one of the new members of our team.

Today, we are introducing you to Mr. Abram Egger, who will be our 5th grade teacher this year.


  1. What are you most looking forward to about working at ILS?

    Getting to contribute to Classical Lutheran education at one of the places that does it best.

  2. What book are you currently reading?

    The Best Short Stories of Fyodor Dostoevsky and No Country for Old Men.  

  3. What was your favorite thing you did this summer?

    My wife and I spent two weeks hiking around Colorado Springs and in Rocky Mountain National Park.

  4. What is one place you would like to visit but have not yet been?

    I have always wanted to visit the Pacific Northwest.

  5. What was your favorite subject/class when you were in school? 

    Greek

  6. What was your favorite book as a child?

    The Hobbit! When I was very young, anything by Roald Dahl.

  7. What is your favorite scripture verse? 

    Psalm 51:7-8 – “Purge me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me and I will be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones you have broken may rejoice.”
